As a constantly scribbling small girl, I read all the time. The two usually go hand in hand. Many of the books I grew up with were classics I still love to return to. This blog is a nostalgic wander through the ones I loved most, from L.M.Alcott to Enid Blyton to Laura Ingalls Wilder; it’s not a review, more of a series of thoughts about why I loved them then and now. I shall try and post about a different one each week. Please feel free to add your comments on each book I choose as I’d love to hear why other people enjoyed them – or even if they didn’t!
Occasionally I mention other things of national importance like growing vegetables, sporadic but enthusiastic bursts of genealogy, and my own writing. If you love Cornwall, do visit my website http://www.caroline-williams.com, and if you would like to read my first novel which is set there (and I would love you to!) click here.
